Legal
Terms of service
These terms govern the use of DUOLEXX (duolexx.com), operated by VIYBS LLC.
1. Scope & provider
These terms apply to the use of the DUOLEXX platform by consumers and businesses. The provider is VIYBS LLC, 254 Chapman Rd, Ste 208 #18174, Newark, DE 19702, USA.
2. Services
DUOLEXX enables creating bilingual documents via a guided assistant, their paid PDF export, a simple electronic signature (SES) for two parties, and — on the Pro plan — API/MCP access. The scope and availability of individual features may evolve.
3. No legal advice
DUOLEXX is a software tool and does NOT provide legal advice or individual legal services. The clauses and documents are based on researched templates and do not replace review by a qualified lawyer. We give no warranty that a document is suitable for your specific case. For legally significant or complex matters we expressly recommend legal review.
4. Registration & account
Certain features require an account. You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials confidential. We may suspend accounts in case of misuse.
5. Prices & payment
The prices displayed at the time of order apply. Single-document purchases are billed per document; the Pro plan is a subscription (monthly or yearly). Payment is processed via Stripe. Any applicable VAT is shown.
6. Digital content & right of withdrawal
For paid digital content, consumers generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal (see the Withdrawal Policy). At your express request we begin performance before the withdrawal period ends; with your consent and acknowledgement of the resulting loss, the right of withdrawal expires once performance begins.
7. Rights & content
The content you enter and the documents generated belong to you. You grant us only the simple licence necessary to operate the service (e.g. storage, display, PDF generation). Rights in the platform, its software and templates remain with us or our licensors.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service unlawfully, not to infringe third-party rights, and not to perform automated bulk access outside the provided API.
9. Availability
We aim for high availability but do not owe uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, faults or force majeure may cause limitations.
10. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of essential contractual obligations and limited to the foreseeable, contract-typical damage. Mandatory statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
11. Term & termination
The Pro subscription runs for the chosen interval and renews unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time to the end of the current period via the customer portal.
12. Governing law & jurisdiction
The laws of the U.S. State of Delaware apply. Consumers habitually resident in the EU additionally benefit from the mandatory consumer protection of their state of residence, which is not withdrawn from them.
13. Changes to the terms
We may change these terms with effect for the future. We will notify material changes appropriately; continued use after they take effect constitutes acceptance where legally permitted.
14. Final provisions
If a provision is invalid, the remainder stays effective. For online dispute resolution see the Legal Notice.
